Today's Downsizer Dispatch . . .
Two people needed to help with two things . . .
* T-shirt production
* Java script and dynamic HTML
You've seen us taking up the defense of liberty with hot button, current issues. You've joined us in challenging the establishment with the Downsize DC Agenda -- with our "Read the Bills Act," "Write the Laws Act," and the soon-to-be-released "One Subject at a Time Act." Now, as we enter our fourth year, we're rolling out a whole new kind of campaign.
DownsizeDC.org is about to enter a new phase with "Strike the Root" campaigns. We're going to popularize new ways of thinking about broad issues that cut right to the base of a particular issue. You can call it "Philosophy in the Trenches."
These campaigns will be defiant statements. And we think these declarations will need their own T-Shirts.
We're looking for an established T-Shirt producer (please, not a hobbyist), who can produce top quality T-Shirts. We'd like to work with an enthusiastic DC Downsizer.
We're a bootstrap operation. But we pay as we go (no credit terms required). Our initial order and orders to follow would be modest. We want to keep our cost per shirt down to the lowest level possible, and that means, a competitive price per shirt, as well as little or no set-up fees for each order.
Are you a T-Shirt producer? Can you make us a great deal? . . . maybe even one that eliminates repeat/re-order set-up fees?
If so, then please send us your proposal. DO NOT SIMPLY REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE, but instead, contact us at this address -- HelpWanted@DownsizeDC.org.
Java script and dynamic HTML
We've hit a snag in preparing to launch our new website -- something we can't figure out how to do. To fix it we need the temporary volunteer help (for just a short period) of someone expert in both java script and dynamic HTML. If that sounds like you and you would like to volunteer DO NOT SIMPLY REPLY TO THIS MESSAGE, but instead, contact us at this address -- HelpWanted@DownsizeDC.org
