New 2 Hour Show and a Columbus Ohio Appearance
By Jim Babka
It's official. Starting today, the most popular Genesis Communications Network Sunday Show goes to two hours! The Downsize DC Conference Call starts at 3:06 PM Eastern (2:06 PM Central, 1:06 PM Mountain, 12:06 PM Pacific).

Today, I'll be using the two hours to focus on "the things that matter most" if we want to Downsize DC. And guess what? It's not votes. I'll explain, amongst other things, why certain positions get short-shrift by the media and what we can do about it. This is an important issue and you won't want to miss it.

I'll get back to that in a moment, but first . . .

Tomorrow, Monday evening, I'll be a speaker at the Columbus (Ohio) Ron Paul Meetup. The Meetup starts at 7:15 PM and takes place at Columbus Main Library 96 S. Grant St.  Columbus, OH. Details and RSVP are available on their Meetup page.

Please, if you're in the area, come out and meet me.

We've had two serious inquiries, but no sale yet on additional sponsorship.

On top of that, there's been progress on adding an FM talk station. And I can tell you the state now -- Missouri.

So I took the additional hour anyway because I believe big things are in the works.

But I'm going to be honest. I'm over-committed. I have a lot of fun doing this show, but I just can't continue to go down this path without additional sponsors. What I mean to say is that if I don't get the additional sponsor, the show won't grow. And if it won't grow, I'll end up pulling the plug and doing something else with my time.

Sponsorship opportunities range from $160 - $450 per month. For details, please email CALL at DOWNSIZEDC dot ORG.

My show, which is sponsored by, can be heard on a couple of stations, but the best way for nearly everyone on this list to hear the show is online at

If we have time, I'll tell you about my favorite story at the Free State Project Liberty Forum. HINT: It involves an extended conversation with a United States Senator. You won't believe what he told me!

And as usual, we'll have an update from my other sponsor, Gun Owners of America...

I look forward to you calling-in with great observations, insights, and questions for your knowledgeable host. It's the number of callers and emailers that my show has been getting, lo these recent months, which has convinced my network I'm worth two hours. Thank you. Let's keep it up.

The number is 1-800-259-9231. You can email the show at CALL at DOWNSIZEDC dot ORG.

Happy Listening,

Jim Babka
