New cut taxes campaign

Tell Congress to cut taxes using our quick and easy software Retweet

You haven’t heard much from us recently. We’ve been busy fixing bugs from the launch of our new website. Then Hurricane Irma chased most of our tech team out of their homes. We’re ready to get moving again.

We’ve also installed some new campaigns. Most of these campaigns will be highly flexible — you can use them to issue Congress general instructions, or something more specific. For instance, you can tell Congress to…

  • Cut taxes in general or cut a specific tax
  • Cut spending in general or for a specific program
  • Reduce regulations in general or eliminate a specific regulation

Each of these campaigns will have a standard letter in place. But you can edit or replace that letter. Write something entirely different if you want. That’s what makes these campaigns so flexible. The first of these flexible campaigns is…

Cut taxes!

The hardwired letter to Congress reads…

I want you to cut taxes

The following letter appears on our site (you don’t have to copy & paste it). You can either send it as is, edit it, or replace it with your own tax-cutting instructions to Congress.

Taxation is both immoral and impractical. It forces people to pay for things they don’t want. That’s wrong. It also insulates governmental institutions from the need to earn their money. This leads to poor performance. That’s impractical.

Morality and pragmatism are two sides of the same coin. Moral actions are practical. This means that government services should be voluntarily funded. This will improve performance. In other words…

The government’s budget should be set by what citizens are willing to pay voluntarily, NOT by what politicians want to impose on us. Please take immediate steps to move in the direction of voluntary funding for government.

— END OF SAMPLE LETTER–
