The One Subject at a Time Act has reached a new milestone

NOTE: Soon, Downsize DC will announce the largest outreach program in its history. Stay tuned to this newsletter for updates.

How many libertarian organizations get bills introduced in Congress? We know of one – Agenda Setters by Downsize DC.

We’ve performed this feat with multiple bills, through multiple sessions of Congress. Now, we’ve done it again!

Our One Subject at a Time Act has just been re-introduced in the House for this new session of Congress.

Representative Russ Fulcher, [R-Idaho], is the sponsor for the second time. The new bill number is H.R. 872. Better yet…

The One Subject at a Time Act already has 10 co-sponsors.

This is the most ever for this early in a session. Here are their names…

  • Rep. Thomas Massie [R-KY-4]
  • Rep. Ralph Norman [R-SC-5]
  • Rep. Andy Biggs [R-AZ-5]
  • Rep. Bill Posey [R-FL-8]
  • Rep. Lauren Boebert [R-CO-3]
  • Rep. Chip Roy [R-TX-21]
  • Rep. Mo Brooks [R-AL-5]
  • Rep. Mary E. Miller [R-IL-15]
  • Rep. Claudia Tenney [R-NY-22]
  • Rep. Ben Cline [R-VA-6]

And that’s not all…

One Subject at a time has also been reintroduced in the Senate.

Thank you, Senator Paul [R-KY]! The new Senate bill number is S. 110.

Every two years, there’s a new congress. These bills need to be reintroduced. This is the earliest these bills have been introduced in a congressional session. So we have plenty of time to move the ball forward.
